Job Bulletin Board of the Ohio-Region Section of the APS (OSAPS)

Welcome to the OSAPS job bulletin board. This webpage serves as a forum for advertising temporary and part-time positions in physics teaching. Any OSAPS member can post a "wanted" ad for free.

What is it about? Note that here, you cannot advertise for permanent or full-time positions - Physics Today is the appropriate venue for that. At this job bulletin board, typical job postings are e.g. for teaching one or two lab sections, teaching as a substitute for one quarter while a faculty member is on research leave etc. Applicants interested in these jobs might be graduate students or recent graduates, retired faculty, or post-docs looking to gain some teaching experience. The Ohio-Region Section will advertise the job bulletin board widely, and hopes to provide a useful service in particular for smaller schools and campuses.

How to advertise? All job ads need to contain the following information: type of position, start and duration of position, name and location of the institution, contact information, application deadline, and qualifications required.
