The Ohio-Region Section of the American Physical Society, established in 1938, brings together physicists, other scientists and engineers from industry, government and academia for topical symposia twice a year. All are welcome to participate in these meetings and APS members are invited to join the section, especially those in the greater Ohio region. Students and science teachers are particularly encouraged to attend and present contributed papers at these symposia, which are intended to be largely tutorial in nature.
