Earle K. Plyler Prize for Molecular Spectroscopy and Dynamics

Nominations for the 2014 APS Earle K. Plyler Prize for Molecular Spectroscopy and Dynamics are due July 1. The Plyler Prize is now sponsored by J. Chem. Phys. Winners the last three years are Brooks Pate (2013), Andrei Tokmakoff (2012), and Shaul Mukamel (2011). The cash award is $10,000. All information about the award including nomination procedure can be found on the Earle K. Plyler Prize web page.

New for this year, all nominations must now be submitted online.

Resources and Awards for participants in the March Meeting

Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Researcher Travel Award
APS Division of Chemical Physics New Investigator Travel Awards of up to $500 are available for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers within two years of their Ph.D. who present a paper at one of the DCP Symposia at the APS March Meeting.

Dependent Child Care Award
The Dependent Child Care Award (DCCA) provides dependent child care awards for DCP members attending APS National Meetings. Awards from the fund may be used by recipients for dependent care at a conference, or at an alternative location (including at home), and may include those expenses incurred in transporting a caregiver.
