Marginalized by Race/Ethnicity All Majors Average 2020

This graph shows a five-year average of percentage of US doctoral degrees awarded to marginalized by race/ethnicity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields at United States institutions. In this case, the marginalized by race/ethnicity include African Americans, Hispanic Americans, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and other Pacific Islanders. Degrees awarded to temporary residents are not included in the calculations.
