The theme of the 94^th topical symposium of the New York State Section of the American Physical Society is Acoustics, Musical and Physical.  It will feature ten talks on topics covering the science of acoustics, including technology, applications and musical aspects.  

The meeting will be held on the campus of SUNY Potsdam, hosted by the Physics Department.   SUNY Potsdam is also the home of the Crane School of Music and while the state section meetings are designed primarily to satisfy the intellectual interests of professional physicists and physics students this particular meeting should also be of interest to music teachers and students and to anyone interested in the analysis of music and sound.
