Spin Configurations of a Polarized Deuteron

For a polarized deuteron the probabilities for different spin configurations within the deuteron are quite distinct. In the following 5 probabilities are shown as function of the relative momentum between the neutron and proton inside the deuteron. Red indicates highest probability, blue lowest.

Probability Density for both nucleons having their spin up:
