Post-Doctoral Travel Awards

The DMP Post-Doctoral Travel Awards have been established to recognize innovative materials physics research by Post-Doctoral researchers that will be presented at the APS March Meeting. The Awards are supported through the Division of Materials Physics.

We anticipate that there will be 12 Post-Doctoral Travel Awards in 2021 to support participation in DMP Focus Topic sessions at the APS March Meeting sessions. Submission of an abstract to a DMP Focus Topic is required. The award will cover the registration fee for the Meeting. The selection of the recipients of the DMP Post-Doctoral Travel Awards will be based on the research quality, the impact of the research at the March Meeting and the innovative contribution of the post-doctoral researcher. The selection committee will consist of members of the DMP Executive Committee with input from the DMP Focus Topic Organizers.

Applications must be completed by November 30, 2020. Advisors will be asked to complete a letter of support by December 14, 2020.
