Student Travel Grant Program

Through this program, DLS provides partial funding (up to $500/grant) for a limited number of graduate students to attend and participate in our two major meetings, CLEO in the spring and Frontiers In Optics/Laser Science in the fall, as well as the APS March Meeting. To be eligible, the student must be a member of APS-DLS and must be the presenting author on an accepted oral or poster presentation. Normally, the student’s faculty mentor must also be a DLS member. Students who have previously received a travel grant are not eligible for a second travel grant.

FiO/LS will be held in an all-virtual format from September 14-17, 2020, and therefore DLS will not be offering student travel grants to FiO/LS this year. Please check this webpage in January for updates in advance of the APS March Meeting.
