"This was my first conference and was a fantastic experience. It was a great introduction to the processes of sharing my work and understanding the current research being done in the field. The DGRAV Student Travel Grant was instrumental in helping me attend. Travel can be fairly expensive, and with many people from my group going, my advisor couldn't cover all the costs. So the travel grant was a great resource to cover some of my expenses."

"The APS April Meeting is always an enjoyable experience. However, it is relatively expensive for a graduate student to attend. Thankfully, with the DGRAV Student Travel Grant to help with the expenses, I was fortunate enough to make it to this year's meeting in Ohio. It was a great opportunity to share my work with fellow attendees, hear about current research in my field, and to connect with collaborators (old and new)."

"I would have not been able to attend the APS April Meeting this year were it not for the DGRAV student travel grant. Attending the meeting allowed me to meet with both current and future collaborators, talk with undergraduate students from other universities, and most importantly give a talk on my current research. The money provided by the student travel grants allowed myself and other students from Montana to share our work with the communities in which we are a part, which is a very valuable experience, especially for students who are in the beginning stages of their research careers.
